Music from my city (2004)

The songs continued, but a change was in the air. I realised that may be, perhaps may be, my compositions were too long. After all, the average pop single is barely more than 3 minutes of music, and I was writing songs which were two to three times as long. There is nothing wrong with that, of course (Soft Machine, for instance, used to write songs which spanned the whole side of a vinyl album), but I wondered if I should conform to the accepted norm. So, you can see a gradual shortening of the songs which really started with "Life is so different" in this album.
